ROGUE ROCKET APPS

Privacy & advertising

Effective and last updated: October 29, 2026.

Rogue Rocket is operated by Luis Daniel Mesa Velásquez in California, United States. This policy covers roguerocket.app, Cars, Vectored, Home Discovery and Riftwatch. For privacy questions or requests, contact dan@roguerocket.app.

These apps do not ask you to register, create a visitor profile or submit a form to our servers. Saved stories and offline listings stay in your browser. Optional Cars location is used on your device and is not stored by the directory API. Hosting, map and advertising providers still process the information needed for their services, as described below. We receive a contact message only if you choose to send an email from your own email app.

This policy page does not load advertising or consent scripts or save browser preferences. To change an app's advertising settings, open Privacy choices within Rogue Rocket, Cars, Vectored or Home Discovery.

Information used to provide the apps

Advertising and other providers

Google AdSense is integrated on the collection homepage, Cars, Vectored and Home Discovery to support them through advertising. It is not loaded on this policy page. Unless Google advertising is turned off in an app, Google’s scripts there can connect to Google. Google manages ad delivery and its privacy messages, subject to site eligibility and applicable visitor choices. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, local storage or similar technologies and process information such as your IP address, browser, device, identifiers and page activity, subject to applicable choices. Their advertising services can use this information to select, personalize and measure ads and prevent fraud.

Read how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services, Google's privacy policy and Google ad preferences. Google and other providers describe their own storage periods, processing locations and privacy choices in their policies.

Cars loads map tiles directly from OpenStreetMap. That provider receives network information, including your IP address and the map area requested. Its tiles are not downloaded in bulk for offline use. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy. Opening a dealer website, a source article, a phone link or Google Maps directions takes you to that provider's service and privacy rules. Cars directions links do not include your current location as the starting point.

We operate from the United States. Hosting, Google and other external providers may process information outside your country under their published terms and policies. Google acts as an independent controller for its AdSense advertising processing under its controller terms. Contact us if you need information about safeguards applicable to processing we control.

Purpose and legal basis

Where European or UK data-protection law applies, consent is the basis for nonessential advertising storage and personalized advertising. Optional device location requires your browser permission and stays on your device. For associated processing needed to deliver and secure the apps or respond to voluntary correspondence, we rely on legitimate interests in providing those services, subject to your rights. The providers' own notices explain their separate processing and legal bases.

Your privacy choices

Open Privacy choices on the site you are using, then choose Turn off Google advertising here to stop that site’s Google advertising scripts from loading on subsequent visits in this browser. The page reloads to end its current Google scripts and frames. This saves one functional preference in local storage, without an identifier, until you restore the controls or clear that site’s storage. The choice is specific to the site’s origin: Cars, Vectored and the main Rogue Rocket site have separate preferences; Home Discovery shares the main site’s preference. It does not remove Google cookies already stored by your browser or change other sites’ choices. Restoring Google privacy controls removes this local block and allows Google’s integration on the next page load; it does not itself record consent. If your browser cannot save the preference, the dialog explains the limitation.

If your browser cannot save an advertising-off choice, the app opens this script-free page to end the app page's Google connections. That choice was not saved: returning to an app may load Google advertising again. You can close the tab or review your browser's storage and site settings. If the privacy page cannot open, close the app tab to end its Google connections.

Where Google's privacy message is available, use it to accept, reject or manage the advertising purposes and partners offered. Use its Privacy and cookie settings or Do not sell or share my personal information control, when displayed, to return to the available settings and change an earlier choice. Changing or withdrawing a choice affects future processing; it does not undo processing that already took place. Google ad preferences are an additional control; they do not replace this site's consent choices.

You can withdraw location permission for Cars or Home Discovery in your browser's site settings. Choose Clear saved data in Cars to remove saved directory and inventory snapshots. Remove Vectored bookmarks in the app, or clear its site storage in your browser. Clearing a site's browser storage also removes its saved files and preferences and can make offline content unavailable. A currently open Cars view can save public data again. Home Discovery's current-page choices can be cleared by closing or reloading that page.

To ask about information we control, or request access, correction or deletion, email dan@roguerocket.app. Depending on the law that applies, you may also ask to object to or limit processing or receive a portable copy of your information. You do not need an app account to make a request. Identify the relevant app and request; avoid sending passwords, precise location or other sensitive information. We may ask for enough information to verify that the request concerns you. For information held directly by Google or another external provider, its privacy controls or request process are also available.

You may raise a privacy complaint with the regulator for your location, as applicable, including the California Privacy Protection Agency, the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your European data-protection authority.

Browser privacy signals

The apps do not change their behavior in response to the older Do Not Track browser signal. When your browser exposes Global Privacy Control as enabled, these apps do not load Google’s advertising script. Restoring the local controls cannot override that browser signal. Google separately documents restricted processing for supported Global Privacy Control signals where applicable. These statements do not describe how unrelated external providers respond. Google’s privacy choices and opt-out messages are separate from Do Not Track.

Changes to this policy

We will publish updates at this address and change the date above when our practices change. For material changes, we will also post a notice on the affected apps before introducing the changed practice. Please review the policy before using a new feature that asks for additional information.
